Hi, this is Mingcong 😊

Currently, I work with Dr. Qimin Liu as a lab manager at the Quantitative Psychopathology Lab in the Center for Anxiety & Related Disorders (CARD) at Boston University. Previously, I worked with Dr. Lily Brown at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA), Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. I also worked with Dr. Todd J. Farchione at the TREND UP Lab in CARD.

My research (1) investigates how stress exposure interplays with emotion regulation in depression and anxiety, and (2) uses mechanistically informed, person-specific approaches to improve assessment and optimize intervention. I approach these aims using multi-method approaches across multiple levels of analysis, focusing on temporal dynamics, real-time monitoring, and individual differences.
